Mellow Mushroom surprises Stephen, Heidi, and all of their wedding guests by rolling up at their reception with the Bake Bus and serving pizza, including the couple's favorite!

Stephen and Heidi Smith had their first date at Mellow Mushroom in Savannah, Georgia. This Mellow soon became their Friday date night spot, enough so that they had their very own special pizza, the Magical Mystery Tour with pineapple. Soon after, Stephen and Heidi moved to North Carolina, to a small town outside of Charlotte.

Mellow was a special part of their story, so when Stephen and Heidi got engaged and began planning their wedding, they wanted to serve Mellow to their guests. However, their favorite eclectic Mellow spot was no longer close. Heidi read about the Mellow Mushroom Bake Bus, a fully loaded mobile pizza kitchen, and reached out to HQ to see if Mellow would be able to serve the guests at their wedding.

Shortly after Heidi reached out, Mellow Mushroom HQ and the Mellow Mushroom in Charlotte, North Carolina, collaborated on this surprising visit that truly added a twist to and enhanced their wedding—it was a romantic delight for all of their guests.

On the night of their wedding, the Mellow Mushroom Bake Bus showed up with a surprise pop up dinner and recreated that very ambiance in which they first fell in love. They bonded over a love of delicious pizza, and Mellow validated their union with, what else, delicious pizza!

Sometimes, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love hands us a fairy tale. For Stephen and Heidi, Mellow was happy to complete theirs.
